Project Accountant - Construction

Project Accountant - Construction We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join a growing construction company. This role is responsible for managing project financials, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting project teams from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Manage project budgets, job cost tracking, and financial reporting Process billing, pay applications, and accounts receivable Review and track project costs, commitments, and change orders Support month-end close and maintain accurate financial records Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting standards Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor financial performance Assist with audits and financial analysis as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of construction accounting experience required Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Experience with job cost accounting and WIP reporting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
