Base Salary:
$80,000-$90,000, plus an additional $10,000-$15,000 Annual Bonus We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing commercial safety organization in the Rockville, MD area. This fully onsite role will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, job costing, and compliance efforts while partnering with operations teams to ensure financial accuracy.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and maintain general ledger accuracy Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Support job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue tracking for service and project work Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and audit support documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and tax reporting requirements Partner cross-functionally to resolve job cost discrepancies and improve processesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally within service, construction, or project-based environments Knowledge of GAAP and strong Excel skills Experience with job costing, WIP, or ERP/accounting systems is a plusCompensation & Benefits:
