Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close. This role will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, perform analysis, and maintain strong control over the general ledger in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end close, including preparing and posting journal entries and reconciling assigned accountsPerform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliationsMaintain and analyze general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completenessAssist in preparation of monthly financial statementsSupport revenue and expense analysis, including variance explanationsAssist with year-end audit and provide requested schedules and supportContribute to annual budgeting process and ongoing financial analysisPrepare schedules, research accounting issues, and support ad hoc reporting requestsCollaborate cross-functionally with accounting team, AP, and other departmentsSupport team coverage as needed, including backing up teammatesParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
