Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and double-entry bookkeeping. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) regulations. Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Maintain detailed records of payroll management. Support tax preparation activities by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to governmental accounting standards. Perform data entry tasks with precision, including account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation. Contribute to internal audits and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions. Qualifications Hands-on experience with accounting software and excel Familiarity with payroll management systems highly desirable. Excellent understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to perform accurate data entry and account analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including 10 key typing) for financial calculations and reporting tasks. Minimum of associates degree preferred

Pay:

$48,500.00 - $62,500.00 per year
