This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in complex environments involving multiple legal entities, intercompany accounting, franchise reporting, and operational finance leadership. The successful candidate will oversee full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, compliance, cash flow management, and process optimization while partnering closely with ownership and operational leadership teams. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting across multiple franchise entities and operating companies Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages Lead intercompany reconciliations and multi-entity accounting functions Evaluate contract terms to ensure alignment with financial goals and risk tolerance Ensure compliance with ASPE/GAAP, tax regulations, and franchise reporting requirements Lead annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across multiple business units Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and franchise partners Develop and improve accounting systems, internal controls, and financial processes Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and operational insights Mentor and lead accounting staff while fostering accountability and accuracy Qualifications CPA designation - strongly preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Experience managing accounting for franchise groups, multi-location operations, or multi-entity organizations Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting Experience overseeing multiple sets of books simultaneously Advanced proficiency in Quick Books, Excel and accounting/ERP systems Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Experience in retail, hospitality, franchise, or multi-unit operations considered a strong asset Preferred Experience Franchise accounting and royalty structures Multi-company consolidations Process automation and system implementation Multi-State tax and compliance experience Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration What We Offer $95,000 - $130,000 DOE + Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays High-impact role with direct exposure to ownership Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding organization How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a summary of your experience managing multi-entity or franchise accounting operations.
