About the Opportunity The Staff Accountant reports directly to the CFO and prepares and maintains accurate financial records and reports. Key responsibilities
Include:
Maintaining and reconciling general ledger and sub ledger accounts Bank account reconciliations Preparation and entry of journal entries Month end closing and reporting process Adherence to accounting procedures and internal controls Accumulation and preparation of supporting documentation and schedules for periodic accounting, financial, and compliance reporting requirements Providing, collaborating, and responding to information required from organization team members About You Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of training and background Microsoft Excel proficiency is preferred Exceptional attention to detail A self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities Comfortable working fully on-site in our Ann Arbor office Why work for us?
