Develop and maintain standard costs for all products and components. Manage inventory valuation, including obsolescence and cycle count adjustments. Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analysis for management. Assist in the annual budget process and periodic cost forecasting. Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements. Ensure accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routing data. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of progressive cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) beyond standard user functions. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
