In this role, you will work closely with the Assistant Controller, focusing on the month-end close process and managing various financial transactions throughout the month. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to deepen their corporate accounting experience in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Month-End Close:
Actively participate in monthly accounting system transactions, accruals, account reconciliations, and the comprehensive month-end closing process.
Accrual Management:
Prepare monthly revenue and cost accruals, including payroll, subcontractor, and intercompany cost/revenue accruals.
Journal Entries & Payroll:
Accurately prepare and post payroll journal entries.
Reconciliations:
Perform bank account reconciliations, as well as balance sheet accruals, amortizations, and reconciliations.
Intercompany Accounting:
Reconcile intercompany receivables and payables smoothly across related entities.
Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in generating and analyzing gross margin reports, preparing local Financial Statements, and generating Management Reporting.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
Skills:
Strong analytical, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
