Full-Time, In-Office (No Remote Work) Partnership Opportunity This role offers a defined path to partnership within 3-5 years, including involvement in firm leadership, client development, and the long-term growth of the firm. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, including: Individual (1040) Fiduciary/Trust (1041) Partnership (1065) Corporate (1120) Prepare compiled financial statements in accordance with applicable standards Ensure compliance with current tax laws and accounting regulations Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients Build and maintain strong client relationships Review work for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness Qualifications Active CPA license preferred; candidates currently completing the CPA exam process will also be considered 5-10 years of public accounting experience preferred Knowledge of 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120 tax preparation Experience preparing compiled financial statements Solid understanding of GAAP and tax regulations Ability to manage engagements independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and client relationship skills Preferred Qualifications Experience reviewing tax returns Familiarity with Wolters Kluwer tax and accounting software Experience working with small to mid-sized business clients QuickBooks experience strongly preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, established firm with a strong local reputation Supportive and collaborative team environment Training and professional development opportunities for qualified candidates Long-term advancement potential, including partnership opportunities About Us We are a respected, well-established accounting firm serving individuals and businesses throughout the Farmington Hills area, known for our long-term client relationships and commitment to quality service.
