Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join a growing organization within the industrial distribution and logistics space. This role supports a fast-paced accounting function with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement. About the Role The Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of corporate accounting activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting support, and analysis of large datasets. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and complete month-end, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and schedules Record and post journal entries, accruals, expense allocations, and month-end adjustments Perform intercompany reconciliations Collect, analyze, and format large datasets for accounting and reporting purposes Support budget preparation and variance analysis Assist with financial statement reviews and annual audits Research and interpret accounting data to respond to financial inquiries Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting Support improvements in accounting processes, systems, and ERP enhancements Assist with testing and implementation of system and programming changes Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (from an accredited institution) 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting with compliance/reporting focus Strong experience with balance sheet account reconciliations Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Strong understanding of

U.S. GAAP

Experience working with large volumes of data Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pay:

Up to $80,000.00 per year
