Job Overview We are seeking a detail oriented, tech forward Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a growth position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop accounting skills within a corporate non-manufacturing environment. You will assist the team and contribute to the accurate preparation of financial documents. Duties Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Assist with bookkeeping procedures, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Enter and verify journal entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks and proprietary software. Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Assist with maintaining LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations. Skills Basic understanding of accounting principles such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and accrual accounting. Familiarity with financial concepts including financial statement preparation and interpretation. Take pride in error free work and teamwork collaboration. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting 3 years' successful experience in a non-manufacturing accounting environment QuickBooks experience Advance knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and online platforms.
