Full Job Description TITLE:

POSITION SUMMARY
Supports the finance functions of the agency. Maintains accounting practices and controls to ensure accurate and reliable data. Responsible for providing accounting, financial, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate transactions and reporting within the finance department. Responsibilities include accounts payable processing, successful and timely collection of all private pay and third-party fee-for-service reimbursements, and cash receipts handling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine daily and monthly procedures. Perform daily cash analysis. Reconcile daily cash receipts and oversee all cash receipts. Record and maintain accounts payable and receivables. Process check requests. Support annual budgeting process. Assist Grants Manager in the development of grant budgets Ensures that agency policies and procedures are adhered to with regard to accounting practices. Ensure adherence to GAAP. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits. Maintain records according to all policies. Process incoming mail related to finance. Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Finance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management and 2 years of accounting experience preferred. Experience with computerized accounting systems, spreadsheets, and word processing applications required. Experience working with Abila MIP preferred. Demonstrated experience with AP and medical billing/fee-for-service. Demonstrated ability to perform basic bookkeeping functions with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written. Keyboard speed and accuracy required. Must be able to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, systems applications, and other office equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physically able to: grasp, talk, see, and perform repetitive motion. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time and exerting negligible amounts of force for purposes of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. Typical office conditions exist. Office conditions exist within a heavy traffic area, subject to significant telephone and face-to-face interaction. Conditions include regular exposure to frequent repetitive motion of joints. Conditions are subject to occasional exposure to agitated or threatening individuals.
