This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This position is based in Madison Heights, MI; initial on-site training is required, with the opportunity for hybrid work flexibility after training is complete. - Review and input system-generated data, prepare journal entries, and make adjustments for monthly financial closing.
- Analyze balance sheet accounts, create supporting schedules, and suggest adjustments when needed.
- Reconcile and correct company bank accounts, maintaining records for accuracy.
- Support financial audits and assist with managing fixed asset systems.
- Support US Controllers by providing accounting and finance assistance.
- Analyze financial activity for income tax preparation and maintain fixed asset and depreciation records, ensuring accurate journal entries.
- Handle purchase order processing and manage employee credit card transactions.
- Undertake additional accounting, financial, and administrative tasks assigned by the Financial Controllers.

The preferred candidate will have the following: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of accounting experience with international manufacturing or industrial industry knowledge and experience working for multiple locations. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Navision preferred.) Strong familiarity with Basic Bookkeeping, including knowledge of
A/P & A/R.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and detail oriented.
