Position Overview Seeking skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Staff Accountant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional with public accounting experience who enjoys working on a variety of engagements and strives to build strong client relationships. You will play a key role in supporting tax preparation, financial reporting, and ongoing client accounting needs. Key Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships Assist with financial statement preparation, and compilations, accordance with GAAP Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions Work directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide timely updates Assist with tax planning and compliance projects Collaborate with senior staff on client engagements and special projects Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all work products Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required) Minimum of 3+ years of experience in public accounting (CPA firm experience strongly preferred) Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and tax compliance regulations Active progress toward CPA licensing or EA certification (preferred) Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QBO Familiar with MTO Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Seasonal bonus Comprehensive benefits package 401(k) Match Paid time off and flexible scheduling options Ongoing professional development and CPA/EA exam support Opportunities for advancement within the firm Collaborative, team-oriented work environment Exposure to a diverse client base across multiple industries Why Join Us?
