Job Overview The Accounting Intern is a hands-on learning opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented student or recent graduate who wants real-world experience in accounting, financial operations, and month-end close processes. You will support the Accounting team and Controlling Manager on daily bookkeeping, month-end close activities, and process improvement projects while gaining valuable exposure to NetSuite and the inner workings of a fast-growing pharmacy business. This is an excellent role for someone looking to build a strong foundation in finance and accounting while contributing meaningfully to a growing company.
Job Responsibilities :
Assist the Accounting team and Controlling Manager with month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting while taking pride in everything you do . Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, and bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. Participate in departmental meetings, contribute ideas to process improvement projects, and gain hands-on experience with NetSuite and other accounting tools while embracing a growth mindset. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis to help leadership understand business performance. Assist with audit preparation, compliance documentation, and maintaining organized financial records. Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve accounting questions and support overall financial accuracy. Work your hardest to meet deadlines and continuously look for ways to streamline routine tasks and improve efficiency. Attributes & Skills Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statements. Previous internship or coursework experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, or month-end close is a plus. Familiarity with NetSuite or other accounting software is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.). Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
