Adobe Acrobat Full Job Description Position Purpose:
Serve as a senior accounting leader responsible for overseeing the financial operations of
KIRCO/SK
Medical Management's managed properties and underlying investment entities. This role acts as a key delegate to the Controller, providing oversight, guidance, and direction to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and alignment with ownership objectives. The position partners closely with Property Management and leadership to drive financial performance, process improvements, and operational excellence.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including accruals, CAM reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting, ensuring compliance with owner specifications and accounting standards. Oversee and review bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Act as a primary liaison and delegate for the Controller, managing day-to-day accounting operations and supporting strategic initiatives. Provide oversight and direction to accounting processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement. Partner proactively with Property Managers to review A/R reports, resolve tenant issues, and support overall property performance. Lead and coordinate annual property budget preparation in collaboration with the Controller and Property Managers, providing analytical insights and recommendations. Review and oversee preparation of tax workpapers for respective properties, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Oversee the preparation and review of annual CAM estimates and reconciliations, supporting tenant communications and presentations as needed. Ensure accuracy and integrity of rent rolls, including oversight of tenant onboarding and offboarding processes. Oversee management of escrow accounts, ensuring timely reimbursement requests and proper tracking. Support lender due diligence processes, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. Mentor and support junior accounting staff as applicable, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Assist the Controller with special projects, audits, and strategic financial initiatives.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred). 10-15+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within real estate, property management, or related industry. Demonstrated experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and financial analysis. Experience reviewing work and providing guidance to others strongly preferred. Strong proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools (Yardi experience highly preferred). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
