Job Description:

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role offers a well-rounded mix of general accounting, inventory exposure, and collaboration with leadership.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing schedules and assisting with financial reporting Perform monthly lease accounting and maintain related schedules Complete bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities Assist with inventory accounting, including tracking costs, analyzing variances, and supporting inventory valuation (light cost accounting) Participate in the annual physical inventory count and assist with reconciliation and adjustments Utilize Power BI to analyze financial data, support reporting, and provide insights to leadership Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other departments to ensure accurate financial data Support process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
