Job Description

Staff Accountant - Moser & Associates LLC Moser & Associates is a growing firm seeking a full-time Staff Accountant that has a client-first mindset. About the Role As a Staff Accountant at Moser & Associates, you'll manage a portfolio of client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to the businesses you work with. Your day-to-day will center on understanding each client's financial picture and delivering the services that keep their business running smoothly. This includes bookkeeping, payroll processing, financial statement preparation, and tax compliance. You'll also prepare individual and business tax returns, conduct tax research, and provide proactive guidance as tax laws and regulations evolve. This isn't a back-office role — you'll be the person clients count on, and building strong, lasting relationships is just as important as technical accuracy. Responsibilities Manage ongoing client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for a dedicated client base Provide bookkeeping and payroll processing services as part of comprehensive client support Prepare and review individual and business tax returns Assist with financial statement preparation Conduct tax research and communicate relevant regulatory changes to clients Offer strategic tax and accounting advice tailored to each client's goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field At least one year of experience in individual and business tax preparation preferred CPA or CPA candidate preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite QuickBooks experience preferred Strong client communication and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client assignments and deadlines Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

$45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
