Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our public accounting firm. This position will assist with tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and client accounting services for individuals and small businesses. Responsibilities Prepare individual and business tax returns Perform bookkeeping and account reconciliations Assist with payroll and payroll tax filings Communicate with clients and respond to questions Support year-end accounting and tax projects Qualifications Accounting degree preferred 1+ years of accounting or tax experience preferred Experience with QuickBooks and tax software is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy seasons Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Flexible work environment Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan opportunities Professional development and growth potential
