About Us Minnesota Cannabis Services partners with leading cannabis operators across cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and retail to deliver expert management services in finance, legal, analytics, marketing, HR, and technology. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Support month-end and year-end close processes across a large portfolio of entities spanning multiple states Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations and GAAP standards Collaborate with department heads to track expenses, budgets, and capital allocations Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives Maintain confidentiality and uphold company values of dependability and integrity Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably multi-entity or multi-location Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems Strong Excel and analytical skills Knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices Cannabis or retail industry experience preferred
