Job Description:
Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant with a manufacturing partner of ours in the Golden Valley area!
Pay:
$100,000-$115,000/yr Hybrid/remote Full Benefits, PTO, 401k match ASAP start Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee month-end and year-end close , including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts , ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports , identifying variances and trends for management Manage accruals, amortization, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing accurate financial data and analysis Assist with external audits , tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements Ensure effective internal controls and improve accounting processes and documentation Supervise or mentor staff accountants and AP/AR team members, as needed Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational and strategic initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) Advanced proficiency in Excel Prior experience in audit support or public accounting preferred CPA or CPA-eligible status a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
