Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and evolving finance team. This Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating complex accounting transactions, researching technical accounting issues, and ensuring compliance within a sophisticated GAAP environment. What You'll Do as a Senior AccountantPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPAnalyze and account for complex transactions including revenue recognition, acquisitions, leases, stock compensation, debt arrangements, and other technical accounting mattersResearch accounting guidance and prepare technical accounting memos supporting key business transactionsAssist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCollaborate cross-functionally with operational and business leaders to understand and evaluate accounting implications of strategic initiativesSupport external audits and coordinate with auditors to facilitate efficient reviewsDrive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance accounting efficienciesAssist with implementation of new accounting standards and evolving reporting requirementsPerform account reconciliations and financial statement analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesFor immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054.
