DSB Rock Island is hiring an Accountant for Business Services to support client accounting, bookkeeping, and business services work in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. What You'll Do In this role, you'll work alongside experienced professionals while supporting a variety of accounting, tax, and client accounting services for privately held businesses. It's a strong opportunity to build practical skills, strengthen client relationships, and grow your career in public accounting. Record transactions, maintain ledgers, and help prepare financial statements using accounting software Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and intercompany accounts Assist with accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and depreciation calculations Support monthly client work and respond to routine accounting needs Contribute to accounting, bookkeeping, and tax-related projects as assigned What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Clear written and verbal communication with clients and team members Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, sound judgment, and high ethical standards Commitment to providing exceptional client service Education & Experience 0-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or internship experience preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred CPA eligibility is preferred How We Operate EOS ® Clear expectations.
