04/23/2026 Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area that's looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and who has excellent interpersonal skills. This company offers a collaborative culture, professional growth & development opportunities, and a tenured team. This position is onsite. The salary for this position is $110k. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage cost accounting functions, including system optimization and maintenance of labor and overhead rates. Maintain fixed assets and ensure accurate tracking and depreciation. Support month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making. Ensure accuracy of sales, cost, and backlog data through system reporting and analysis. Oversee inventory controls, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution. Collaborate on process improvements, internal controls, cash forecasting, and annual audit support. The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable. Excellent interpersonal skills. Builds and maintains internal and external relationships that foster collaboration.
