You work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership The Role We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll support core accounting functions and contribute to accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment and is known for accuracy and reliability. This role can be based in any NorthRock office location. Candidates who are located near an office will be expected to work onsite. This is a part-time position requiring 20-25 hours per week. What You'll Do Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Assist in the month-end close process and preparation of financial statements Analyze variances and communicate significant discrepancies to leadership Maintain and support internal controls and accounting policies Assist with cash flow reporting and account analyses Prepare supporting schedules for annual audits and external reporting Assist with quarterly regulatory filings Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes Assist with equity transaction reviews and reconciliations Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed What You Bring Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2-4 years of accounting experience (industry and/or public accounting preferred) Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices CPA or CPA candidate preferred Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics) Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Must be authorized to work in the United States Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required Compensation & Benefits The estimated hourly rate for this role is $39.62 - $54.47 per hour. Rates are based on job relation, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for variable pay. Benefits include a company-funded ESOP, strong retirement plans, and generous PTO.
