Project Accountant

What You'll DoManage project accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking costs, and variance analysisMonitor project financial performance and provide reporting to leadership and stakeholdersPrepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support related to project activityReview project contracts, billing terms, and revenue recognition requirementsTrack labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and other project-related expensesSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing tied to projectsEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and client-specific requirementsPartner with project managers and operational leaders to improve financial visibility and decision-makingAssist with system implementations, process improvements, and clean-up initiatives as neededSupport audits and special accounting projects
