This role is ideal for a professional with a solid accounting foundation who is ready to take ownership of core accounting functions and grow within the organization. This is a direct hire role. On-Site in Woodbury, MN. 8-4:30 hours. $65

Job Duties:

Prepare and post journal entries, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and income statement accounts) Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal management reports Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Identify process improvements and assist with implementation of accounting best practices Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (public or corporate) Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) Experience with accounting or ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
