Job Description

Leggett & Platt, Inc., is searching for a Staff Accountant within our Corporate Accounting department to help support our business. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives. What will you be doing as a Staff Accountant? Coordination and analysis of financial information for a specified number of domestic and international operating facilities Day-to-day contact with division accounting staff, operating managers and other corporate departments Analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts Review of accounting internal controls Assisting internal and external auditors with analysis and reconciliations of accounts Supporting the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and external reporting To be successful in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field (a minimum of 9 hrs of accounting is required) Good interpersonal skills Solid understanding of accounting and strong ability to communicate, both written and verbally Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Ability to work in a team-based environment Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to provide support for other areas of the Company, including finance, tax, credit, information technology, etc. and identify accounting related matters Strong computer skills with demonstrated strength in Excel Things we consider a plus: CMA and/or CPA designation Master's degree in accounting or business administration Cumulative 3.30 GPA and 3.5 GPA in major Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and/or Microsoft D365 Experience in a manufacturing environment
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
