In this role, you will be responsible for keeping accurate and organized financials and providing operational support for financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent computer literacy, and a positive attitude to help us deliver exceptional service and efficient accounting processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative, small team environment while contributing to the overall success of our mission- driven organization. Responsibilities Manage general ledger entries across all aspects of operations. Coordinate with external auditors and provide support for the annual audit and Form 990 preparation. Prepare monthly financials for Board of Directors meeting. Assist Executive Director and Board of Directors with annual budget process. Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, expense coding and tracking, bank, credit card and loan servicing reconciliations. Research discrepancies and questions. Assist in procurement processes as needed. Assist in mortgage underwriting process as needed. Maintain accurate donation and event expense records. Report financial data in support of grant management and compliance reporting. Submit staff hours to payroll processor. Issue 1099s annually. Maintain accounting records, invoicing, and collections notifications for Habitat HOA. Proven experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and general office management tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Data entry accuracy, proofreading skills, and attention to detail are critical. Commitment to serving others and a belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live.
Pay:
$42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
