Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will leverage your expertise in accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and sound financial management across various sectors. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will support our organization's growth, compliance, and strategic decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse accounting functions, mentor team members, and contribute to the organization's success through meticulous financial stewardship. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards. Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracy. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records. Perform financial report writing and interpretation to support management decision-making. Ensure compliance and assist with internal audits. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to optimize cash flow and financial performance. Mentor junior team members in technical accounting practices such as accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and regulatory reporting. Utilize the accounting software QuickBooks. Assist with tax preparation processes and maintain knowledge of current tax laws. Requirements Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory. Proven experience in corporate finance or public accounting environments with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts. Proficiency in financial software including QuickBooks a plus. Strong knowledge of account reconciliation procedures, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports and perform cash flow analysis. Experience with auditing processes and regulatory reporting requirements. Effective mentoring skills to guide less experienced team members in accounting best practices.
