Job Description
The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary St. Pius X Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to perform the functions of Accountant/Bookkeeper on a part-time/full-time basis. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance/CFO. Job Responsibilities Counts and receipts school monies. Prepares change boxes for student, sports and special activities.
Prepares daily bank deposits and the corresponding cash receipts journal entry.
Processes payments on accounts as they become due. Maintains files of paid invoices, charging expenditures to proper accounts.
Prepares a monthly reconciliation of contributions.
Assists with tuition collection and record keeping.
Assists with analyzing the financial statements and accounts for accuracy.
Assists with the annual budget preparation.
Provides general support to the Director of Finance/CFO, Advancement and school offices if required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
