Job Description

Tax Staff Accountant Local CPA firm has a challenging but rewarding full-time position for a staff accountant.
Tax Accountant:
The ideal candidate must have experience in payroll processing, general ledger processing, tax return preparation (both individual and business), excellent people skills and be a self-starter, willing to take direction but able to complete tasks with a minimum of supervision. Previous accounting office experience, as well as knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Dropbox, and UltraTax software, are necessary tools for this position. Candidate(s) must have a strong work ethic, be a good team member, and be available to work 40 hours per week year-round, with the potential for additional hours during tax season. Salary commensurate with experience.
