CK Supply is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support general ledger activity, cash management, and month-end close across multiple subsidiaries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with numbers, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced environment!

The Staff Accountant role plays a key part in core accounting operations, including ownership of assigned areas within the general ledger and the month-end close process. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting, is highly organized, and can work independently while collaborating across departments. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and maintain assigned subsidiaries' general ledger in accordance with GAAP, including journal entries, account analysis, and monthly reconciliations. Manage fixed assets, including CIP, depreciation, and related schedules. Oversee cash activity, including daily deposits, weekly ACH processing, check runs, positive pay uploads, and bank reconciliations. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations; investigate variances and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and support sales/use tax, property tax, and other regulatory filings. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls. Support audits and special projects as needed. Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Finance degree considered with demonstrated experience in general ledger and month-end close 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience with a strong understanding of accrual accounting and general ledger processes Experience participating in or owning portions of the close process Strong Excel skills required; ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
