Staff Accountant

BRS CPAs & Advisors is hiring a full-time staff accountant! We are a small firm looking to add an energetic, motivated individual to our team. This position will primarily focus on preparation of tax returns and accounting. Some specific tasks you will be performing are, but not limited to, the following: Prepare basic to intermediate individual and business tax returns. Recording transactions in ledgers, preparing trial balances and simple financial statements. Develop knowledge of the tax codes. Reconcile accounts to control accounts. Perform schedule computations of accruals, property & equipment and calculate depreciation expense. Preparation of payroll for multiple clients. Preparation of payroll taxes. Client and Firm marketing.
