Job Description

Company Overview Sayle Oil Company, a trusted name in petroleum distribution and services is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The position will be responsible for the accounting for our recently purchased Car Care Clinic Service and Lube division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various financial processes. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial data, facilitate smooth bookkeeping operations, and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork. Good organizational and communication skills are a must. Duties Maintain and update the financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and inventory. Perform account reconciliations for bank statements, inventory, accounts receivable and other company accounts. Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures in accordance with GAAP. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports. Preparation of Sales Tax Returns. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare reports. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and support audit processes. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
