Job Description
Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial accuracy, operational reporting, and strategic decision-making across our growing senior living portfolio. Why You'll Love This Role Contribute to financial operations supporting a growing multi-community organization Work closely with leadership to provide meaningful financial insight Opportunity for professional development and advancement Collaborative and supportive team culture What You'll Do Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts monthly Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Participate in internal controls and audit preparation Support month-end and year-end closing processes Provide financial reporting and analysis to leadership as requested Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments Strong written and verbal communication skills Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience a plus Benefits Double time pay on major holidays Free employee meals Up to $1,000 employee referral bonus (no limit) Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, disability, and EAP Claiborne Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all qualified individuals are considered without regard to legally protected characteristics.
