Full Job Description Position Summary:

This role supports key accounting operations, leads month-end close activities, ensures financial accuracy, and contributes to process improvements across the organization. Compensation:
$90,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L fluctuations Ensure accuracy of financial records in compliance with GAAP and company policies Perform account analyses and identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement Manage bank reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other accounting schedules Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax filings, and internal reporting requests Collaborate cross-functionally to gather information for accruals, allocations, and reporting Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls Mentor junior accounting staff and assist with special projects as needed Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required (2+ senior experience preferred) Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes Familiarity with ASC 606 and ASC 842 preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines CPA certification or CPA-track preferred Experience in a multi-location, service-based, or high-growth environment is a plus Key Competencies Leadership and accountability Critical thinking and problem-solving Collaboration and adaptability Strong business acumen and professional judgment Continuous improvement mindset
