Accountant

Position Overview:

Paris & Potter Management is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support the monthly close process for a fast-paced, multi-location fast food franchise operation. This position will work closely with the CFO to maintain accurate financial records, support accounting operations, and assist with process improvements that contribute to the company's continued success. Job Responsibilities Perform monthly bank account reconciliations Verify and reconcile daily cash receipts and deposits Assist with monthly financial close activities Support the annual audit and tax preparation process Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation Assist with accounting process improvements and operational changes Participate in special projects and additional accounting duties as needed Provide ongoing accounting support to the CFO Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesEducation Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred Experience Two to three years of relevant accounting experience preferred Experience with: Bank reconciliations General ledger accounting Month-end closing procedures Skills Strong accounting, analytical, and critical-thinking skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Self-motivated and able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy Strong team-player attitude and professional work ethic Proficiency in Microsoft Office required Advanced Excel skills preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Sage/MAS 100 accounting software preferred Experience in restaurant or multi-location franchise accounting is a plus Why Join Our Team?
