The Staff Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and play a key part in maintaining financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and assisting with audits and budgeting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment preparation, cash application, and collections. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account analysis. Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by compiling and analyzing financial data. Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure proper coding of transactions. Compile documentation and assist with internal and external audits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and improve financial processes. Maintain logs and records related to procurement, inventory, or other operational accounting functions as needed. Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2-5 years of accounting experience, including exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with inventory accounting or procurement tracking. Familiarity with audit preparation and support. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. #IR1

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
