Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team in the Nashville, NC area. This role is primarily in-office and will support a construction-focused organization by managing the full accounting cycle for multiple jobs and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and prior experience in construction accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting cycle for construction projects, including job costing Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Prepare financial reports and support budgeting processes Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Prior experience in construction accounting strongly preferred Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar ERP systems) Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, formulas) High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Work Environment:
