This role involves direct interaction with third party consultants, internal business partners, senior management, and external auditors, and plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial statements. Responsibilities Transition the accounting for accounts receivable and related reserves from third party consultants to inhouse resources. Lead annual review of loss rates to update current expected credit loss model. Develop and maintain accounting policy on current expected credit losses reserve. Utilize Alteryx and AI enabled tools to drive efficiencies in processes and reporting. Support forecasting of the provision for credit losses. Partners with third party consultants to support remediation of internal control weaknesses. Lead execution and documentation of internal controls ensuring Sarbanes Oxley requirements are met. Assist in drafting financial statement disclosures in compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements. Collaborate with internal or external auditors to ensure technical accounting documentation is in place and meets the needs of the audit process. Drives continuous improvement and best practices. Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports.
