Job Description

We are seeking a Cash Management Account to join our Farm Credit family! This position is responsible for the cash management accounting processes, supports fixed asset compliance and processing as a backup and assists with budget input and reports. The cash management accountant performs a variety of accounting and related duties to include maintaining accurate and complete records, research problems / recommend solutions, and supports the accounting function as needed.
Responsibilities:
General Accounting Processing:
Ensures all accounting entries are complete according to policy and procedure. Performs assigned general accounting or related responsibilities. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records for assigned duties. Research problems, recommend solutions, and process correcting entries as appropriate. Ensure no major exceptions within the area are noted in the Associations' annual fiscal and operations review.
Cash Management Processing:
Primary support for wire transfer transactions. Prepares wire transfer documentation for wire templates.
Budget Support and Input:
Develop budget calendar in collaboration with the CFO by assigned deadlines. Input data required by the specified timeframes. Maintain file with preliminary information. Prepare worksheets as directed. Meet all deadlines associated with assigned responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 3 -5 years of finance, loan processing, accounting, or administrative work
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Self-motivated, with the ability and desire to learn and willingness to apply new procedures and concepts
  • Effective, basic, and efficient computer/technical skills and use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Good knowledge of general office routine and use of office equipment, including phones, computers, copiers, and scanners
