ACCOUNTANT
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday - Friday 8a-5p
Requirements:
Associates degree in Accounting A/P and accrual accounting experience required Experience with general accounting methods and accounts payable preferred.
Responsibilities:
Daily tracking and accounting for cash transaction via cash, check, and credit card Sending positive pay files to bank for all checks written (fraud control) Maintains current and sets up new vendors - for use with Aestiva, CYMA, and 1099s (which the positions prepares) Reconciles several bank accounts each month Prepares daily cash projection Prepares cash deposits and on-line check deposits Prepares sales taxes for payment to the state monthly as well as semi-annual report for sales tax refunds Daily/monthly assigned journal entries Prepares and posts bi-weekly payroll journal entries Backup receptionist duties G eneral ledger responsibilities as assigned Assistance with Billing as assigned Assistance with Accounts Payables as needed Trellis Supportive Care, formerly Hospice & Palliative CareCenter provides a comprehensive and incredible benefits package!
