Electronic Contracting Company (ECC) is a full-service technology systems integrator serving the Midwest. We design, install, and support solutions in audio/visual, communications, security, fire safety, and healthcare and help organizations create smarter, safer, and more connected environments.
Position Overview :
We are seeking an entry level Accountant for immediate hire to support our growing team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting efforts, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. We're looking for a GAAP knowledgeable, detail-oriented, dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Accountant Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Help with invoicing and accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and resolving discrepancies. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements. Compile, analyze, and report on financial data to support business operations and decision-making. Assist with project closeouts and month-end close processes. Reconcile accounts and investigate variances as needed. Support the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors. Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Provide financial insights and analysis to support leadership decisions. Prepare and submit state and local license renewals. Stay current on financial regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Additional education or experience may be preferred. Strong analytical, collaboration, communication, and computer skills. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible. Ability to independently perform tasks after training period. Capable of working under tight deadlines. Strong ethical standards and integrity in financial reporting.

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
