$85,000 - $115,000 per year Job Details - Our organization is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, overseeing tax filings, and managing financial projects. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: 1. Overseeing multi-state income tax preparation and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. 2. Managing and coordinating financial projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. 3. Maintaining and updating the fixed assets register, ensuring accurate depreciation schedules. 4. Conducting regular financial analysis, preparing detailed reports, and presenting findings to senior management. 5. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements. 6. Managing financial records and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures. 7. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits. 8. Staying updated with industry trends, current accounting tools, and regulations to ensure the company's financial operations are in line with legal requirements and accepted policies.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or public accounting firm. 3. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred. 4. Extensive knowledge of multi-state income tax preparation. 5. Proven experience in managing projects and meeting due dates. 6. Proficiency in managing fixed assets, including depreciation. 7. Strong analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and attention to detail. 8. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
