Senior Accountant Community Alliance - 3.2 Omaha, NE Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Spreadsheets Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Community Alliance is seeking a talented and self - motivated Senior Accountant with potential for growth. The successful applicant will work as part of a team exercising substantial independent, professional judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and discretion on a daily basis. The position is responsible for utilizing advanced practice skills in developing and maintaining efficient and highly accurate financial and accounting operations, procedures, and documentation in all facets of the accounting process and assuring compliance with external contractual, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and organizational policies and controls. An individual in this position also provides support to other accounting and accounting support staff, and contributes to the ongoing business functions of the organization. Monthly Journal entries and other general ledger accounting functions Contract and grant billings Account Reconciliations Accounts Receivables Accounts Payables Employee Payroll and related taxes Financial Statements and statistical reporting Earned Bachelor's degree in Accounting or directly related field. Minimum of five years in a professional accounting position, preferably in a healthcare, corporate, or non-profit setting. Advanced knowledge and skills in areas relevant to position including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll and financial statements. Proficiency in use of accounting, spreadsheet and other business software. #INDEED
