Responsibilities:
Responsibilities Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Record monthly adjusting journal entries. Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts, including researching account discrepancies. Assist in financial statement preparation by generating reports from accounting software. Allocate credit card expenses across various entities and real estate properties. Perform variance analysis of expenses for both residential and commercial assets. Organize incoming mail and account statements; maintain both electronic and paper filing systems. Assist with the preparation of supporting documentation for annual tax filings. Support other accounting and finance functions and projects as needed. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance
REQUIRED
Experience in multifamily real estate is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Highly detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with senior members of other departments. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accurate typing skills. Experience with accounting software; familiarity with RealPage or Yardi is a plus. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting. Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and motivated attitude. Commitment to accuracy and efficiency in all work. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
