Staff Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing organization in the Jaffrey, NH area that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will support a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting support, and operational accounting initiatives. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit support Support inventory and cost-related accounting activities Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research variances Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience Experience supporting accounts payable and/or accounts receivable functions Working knowledge of general accounting principles Experience with ERP systems Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities Compensation is up to $80k DOE.
