Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and NetSuite. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and the ability to manage month-end close processes efficiently.

• Handle month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Reconcile accounts, including credit card and bank statements, to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize QuickBooks and NetSuite to manage financial records and transactions.
• Conduct detailed account analyses to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Generate financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and ensure compliance.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all accounting activities.
