Staff Accountant Staff Accountant Position Overview The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in accounting software and can analyze financial data to support management decisions. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements and reports Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Monitor and analyze expenses and revenues Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors Utilize ERP systems such as Epicor for effective financial management Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably Epicor Strong skills in Excel, including Vlookup and Pivot Tables Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations Experience with financial analysis and reporting Knowledge of GAAP and auditing processes Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
